It's been way too quiet here lately, so I thought I would do a quick update on us. We had an uneventful drive home last Friday. The kids did really well and the trip was very easy. We had a GREAT time in Indiana and Michigan and enjoyed seeing many of you.
This week we have been busy getting back into a routine at home. We've stayed at home all week, and by today the kids were all ready to get out for a while. We went to one of our favorite playgrounds in Athens this morning before it got too hot, and enjoyed lunch out. Marina is now playing down at a friend's house and Alexander and I just finished playing a competetive game of Cariboo!
Our next door neighbor asked if I would be willing to let her pitch to me and offer some pitching advice. She is in middle school and will be playing softball and pitching this fall, which she hasn't done in 2 years. I'm looking forward to it. But rest assured Mike will be picking Xavier up for the rest of the weekend since I'm sure my arm will about be ready to fall off. It's been a looooong time since I've pitched a softball! :O)
Not much planned for the weekend except getting stuff done at the house. Oh, and my MOPS group has Mom's night out tomorrow night, so I will be joining the ladies for an evening on the town!
Deb, how is Marilyn feeling? I sure hope she is getting better! We missed you guys in Michigan City but hope we can see you while we're in town for Christmas.

I think she's feeling alittle better. Still very weak and tired. Hopefully the antibiotic will help
