Today we mosting hung out at home. Except this morning when the ladies went to the library and to Meijer for groceries. After lunch we swam in the 88 degree pool and relaxed for a while. Then we got the driveway chalk out and made a LONG hopscotch court with a turn at the end (Caitlin's design). She had fun jumping and running up and down the course and hitting the brakes hard at the end to make the turn.
As Grandma was preparing dinner, Caitlin kept an eye on the fruit to be sure that none of it got away.
Kent and Janet Evans joined us for dinner and brought with them some toys that their grandkids have played with in their younger years. This one is definitely her favorite.
We had to put it to work, so we loaded some dirt in the trailer and dumped it over the area where the gas line was installed in the ground to level some low spots. She really likes this; I hope we won't see her on the I-94 work crew in twenty years......
After falling asleep at the dinner table after finishing her meal, she once again was ready for bed tonight.
I guess we'll have to come up with something creative to do tomorrow while Steph and Bryan visit a friend in Jackson. Whatever it is, we'll enjoy it!
Love to all,
Charlie
