This morning we went to the Binder Park Zoo. Caitlin enjoyed all the animals, but her favorite was feeding the giraffes. She giggled the whole time! And at one point, the giraffe that she was feeding with Grandma sneezed on both of them. Caitlin moved alot faster than Grandma, but they were both VERY surprised.
She also enjoyed feeding the Pygmy Goats in the petting zoo.
We saw what must be the world's largest rabbit. This is not an optical illusion. Caitlin is about the distance from the camera as the bunny is.
A ride on the carousel.
We enjoyed our time at the zoo!!
After lunch we returned home and the ladies hit the pool. Water temperature was 86, so I even got in after dinner. Caitlin and Grandma enjoyed a good old water fight in the pool.
Then I hooked up the trailer behind the tractor and Caitlin and Stephanie went for a "hayride" in July, minus the hay. By the time we returned home, Caitlin had crawled into Mama's lap and went to sleep. It was a short nap since she awakened went we arrived at home, but that tractor just was a lullaby to her ears! After dinner Caitlin and I picked black raspberries and then went swimming. She is one tired little monkey and, like last night, went to sleep early.
Not sure what we will do tomorrow, but we hope it will be fun. The weather forecast is ominous for the rest of the week, so we'll see how it goes.
We hope that you all have a great week! Ours has been great so far!
Love to all,
Charlie
