Well, we seem to be getting into the hot southern summer weather. We had mid 80's to low 90's for the past week and it just feels plain hot outside! I've mentioned it to some of you but I'm really surprised at how much hotter 80 degrees in Georgia feels than 80 degrees in Michigan felt. It's weird, but I'm not the only one that has noticed it so I must not be completely crazy!
The kids started vacation bible school last night and had so much fun they can't wait to go back tonight! Did I mention that Mike and I also really enjoyed VBS? Not that we stayed with the kids, but because we got to drop them off and have 2 hours and 45 minutes with our littlest dude!
We're hoping to pick strawberries tomorrow, if we can get out early enough so as not to melt right onto the strawberry plants. I've thought numerous times how this will all play out......a HUGE field of strawberry plants + a busy, busy 1 year old who loves strawberries = a baby with a bright red smile! I can't wait..... :O)
Hmmm, what else........took the kids shopping this morning and then met Mike for lunch. The boys are sleeping now. Marina is "resting" so she'll have lots of energy at VBS tonight. This afternoon will be full of "how much longer until VBS???" Fun times!
Hope everyone is doing well. Have I mentioned how excited we are to see all of you, minus the E&V Jankowski's :O( , in a few weeks! Woohoo!

Maybe you could send just a little bit of that heat our way. It is supposed to rain for the next couple of days and be 65 to 70. Haven't had any chance to use the pool yet. Crap.
I'm with Pat - it's the same here in Michigan - rainy & cool. The pool looks good, but too cold to get in.
Please send pictures of that strawberry covered face. Grandma would like to kiss it.
No complaints about the Michigan weather from me. It's been very comfortable working outdoors as compared with the sweatbox we had last summer. I'm sure we'll have more heat to come, but for now I'm happy!
