From Caterpillar to Butterfly

Today was Caitlin's last day of school!! She has officially gone from the Caterpillar class to the Butterfly class at the YMCA!! We can't believe how quickly the year went and how much she has grown and changed. We are still getting compliments from time to time saying that Caitlin is very polite and well-mannered. She is starting to read familiar words and has the most amazing had-eye coordination (at least amazing to me). I know she has no idea that she won't be seeing her "kids" for quite a while, but I expect that she'll be plenty busy this summer.

Here are a couple pix...one from today and one from the start of the school year. The growth she has made is subtle, but you can see it in her face and a little in her body. :)

We're looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks and I know Caitlin is looking forward to swimming lessons that start soon.

It is now a day after my surgery, and I am doing fine. My belly is sore, but the vicodin is helping with that. I feel very helpless cause Diana has to do everything for me and I am not used to that. Everything went as planned other than starting a bit late as my surgeon's previous case went longer than they expected. Everyone at the hospital was very nice. Thanks to all for the well wishes.

What up peoples. Diana and I visited Grandma yesterday and looted her gardens. We had a nice visit. I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend. I will be having my surgery tomorrow to repair a hernia. Anyways, have fun and take care.
